Support Mercy Mission
Founded in Charleston on March 15, 1945, Mercy Mission has been serving our state’s vulnerable population for over 75 years. We are a unique organization, as we serve the entire state of SC through our ministries:
- We serve over 50,000 individuals per year through our client choice food pantries, which retain the dignity of our visitors by treating them to a grocery store experience to obtain food.
- Through our wellness pantries we strive to provide healthy foods along with behavioral economics education to help make a systematic change in the lives of our clients throughout South Carolina.
- Clients are able to choose the amount of food they are allocated according to their family size and are able to choose from items such as fresh produce, frozen meats, eggs, milk, and other canned items.
- Besides food, our Hardeeville location also accepts furniture, appliances, clothing and other miscellaneous goods from local donors
