Prayer Shawl Ministry will meet on Monday, September 19 at 10 a.m. in Room 102.
The Prayer Shawl Ministry is made up of a group of dedicated, caring ladies who are crocheting and knitting prayer shawls and lap blankets for those in need of prayers. Our group meets the 3rd Monday of each month at Church of the Palms Room 102 at 10 a.m.
Anyone is welcome to the group whether you want to come to the meeting or want to make the shawls at home.
Prayer shawls or lap blankets are given to those in need of prayer because of surgery, deaths in family, illness and other reasons. We are also giving shawls to those moving away.
If you are requesting the prayer shawl for someone else, you must contact that person to make sure they are willing to receive it. You must be at the service to receive it when Pastor Pete prays over it, and also deliver it to them if they are not at the service. A list of all prayer shawls given out and the date is kept with the shawls.
