Tuesday, January 24, is the initial forming of small groups of four to ten members, based on the “Bridges to Contemplative Living with Thomas Merton.” This series is best described as a tool for spiritual development, inviting participants to personal spiritual transformation for the sake of a more just and peaceful world. Thomas Merton is widely acclaimed as one of the leading spiritual guides of the twentieth century. He sought for himself and encouraged others also to pursue ongoing spiritual transformation and a life of contemplation.
This class is open to individuals seeking to grow richer in Spirit, stronger in prayer, deeper in discipleship, warmer in fellowship, and broader in mission and service to the world for the sake of Jesus Christ.
Starting Tuesday, January 24, the group(s) will meet at Church of the Palms from 4 – 5:30 p.m. (Typical meetings will last 75-90 minutes).
