babylon01sqIt's almost Spring and that can only mean one thing, Vacation Bible School! And in preparation for our biggest and best one yet we are set to Host another VBS Fun Shop on March 10, 8:30 a.m. ~12:30 p.m.

If you have attended one of these event's you know how fun it is, and if you haven't you simply must come and experience a day in the life of a VBS. This is your turn to be a kid again and learn all the fun dances and songs, try your crafting skills and help us learn how to transform Church of the Palms into ancient Babylon for a week.

We always have a great turnout and let's not let this year be an exception. So again make sure you register early in order to save $20.00 and help us gauge the number of supplies needed for this great morning or fun and planning.

girlscouts02If you have been craving a sweet treat, wait no longer as Girl Scout Cookie season is set to begin on February 25 at Church of the Palms.

Our Girl Scouts led by Wendy Wagner and Ainsley McNair, and assisted by Portia will be in the Narthex and the Christian Life Center on Sunday, February 25 to sell all of their delectables, from Thin Mints and Tagalongs to Samoas and S'mores.

No preordering this year but rather, instant gratification as you will be able to take cookies home that day!

The proceeds from this year's sales will go to offer scholarships for young ladies that could not otherwise be a part of the Troop, so please make plans to help support our Girl Scouts and further the developmental skills this organization is known for.

You do not need to be asked - let the spirit of our Lord guide you - you will be blessed!
