Office Volunteers

All that is needed is a servant's heart and familiarity with basic computer procedures.

Sound Technician

Properly balanced and mixed sound during worship, especially in support of our many musical groups, is the purpose of this position.  Basic understanding of mixers, microphones, and iPods would be helpful, but training is available. 

This role is part of our Music and Arts Team and the estimated time commitment is 1 hour on selected Thursdays during choir practice and an occasional Sunday morning.  Contact person is Norma Brown.


Counters

Counters are needed for a once a month commitment to remain after Worship to count the offering and make the bank deposit. Training available for counting procedures. No accounting experience necessary. Contact Angele Estes if interested.


Liturgist

Assist Pastor Pete in the leadership of worship by serving as a liturgist who does any of the following:

  • Reads the scripture passage for the day
  • Shares a moment with the children (Children's Message)
  • Calls for the Offering and then prays over the offering

Altar Guild

Assist the Altar Guild in the preparation of the sacraments and the communion table.

Sanctuary Care

Assist with the weekly preparation of the Sanctuary for worship on Sunday by performing specific tasks on Saturday afternoon / early evening.

The tasks involve vacuuming the Sanctuary, Narthex, and Studies B/C, straightening the chairs, hymn books, Bibles and remove clutter from the chair racks in the Sanctuary.

Acolyte Coordinator

This person would have an interest in youth with the main focus to organize the Acolytes with a Sunday schedule, helping to see they are ready on Sunday mornings, taking care of needs that could arise and be a support in any way needed.
