Church of the Palms opens our hearts and our doors several times a year. We convert our classrooms in to bedrooms and provide meals, fellowship, hospitality, and security the week the families stay with us.
There are multiple ways to assist with this mission.
Church of the Palms works for affordable housing through its support of the HILTON HEAD REGIONAL HABITAT FOR HUMANITY. This affiliate was founded in 1990 as a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry serving Southern Beaufort and Jasper Counties.
Habitat is currently the only organization building new homes in Southern Beaufort County and Jasper County for those residents who earn between 30% and 70% of the median income.
